National Continuing Education Review Service (NCERS)

 What is NAB?
  The National Association of Long Term Care Administrator Boards (NAB) is the national not-for-profit association serving jurisdictions that license, credential, and regulate long term care administrators in the states, commonwealths, and territories of the United States of America and in the District of Columbia. NAB protects public and consumer interests by establishing and advocating model competency standards, and by serving as a national resource for information.

 What is NCERS?
  In order to provide a standard and uniform method of evaluating the continuing education activities required for maintenance of long term care administrator licenses, NAB operates the National Continuing Education Review Service (NCERS) 

 Who can become a sponsor of Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
  Corporations/Institutions/individuals that have experience in long term care, if appropriate, in content and subject matter. Must have expertise in teaching and in instructional methods suitable to the subject presented. Must have suitable academic qualifications and experience for subject presented. 

 Domains of Practice
         Your program content must fall under at least one of the NHA Domains of Practice or RC/AL Domains of Practice to be eligible.

 Who needs CEUs?
  Every Administrator of a Nursing Home or Assisted Living Community, if regulated by the state.
