Columbus Zoo and Aquarium
Home to more than 7,000 animals representing over 800 species, the Zoo is divided into regions of the world. In 2009, it was named by the USA Travel Guide as the number one zoo in the United States. Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, and by extension The Wilds, are prominently featured in the Nat Geo Wild series Secrets of the Zoo, a series focusing on various activities done with the animals in the zoo.

The Center of Science and Industry (COSI)

COSI is a nationally esteemed science center that has delighted Central Ohio with all things science for 58 years. It is a 320,000 square foot facility with 300+ interactive experiences. Tickets should be purchased in advance.

The North Market

The Topiary Park

Located in downtown Columbus, the seven-acre Topiary Park features an evergreen garden with larger-than-life human figures, animals and boats based on Georges Seurat's 1884 painting, A Sunday Afternoon.

The Columbus Museum of Art

Ticket admission: $18 per adults, $9 youth

The museum’s collection includes outstanding late nineteenth and early twentieth-century American and European modern works of art. Their collection includes contemporary art, folk art, glass, and photography.

Bicentennial Park

Built in 1976, this park features a one-of-a-kind fountain, park restaurant and an eye-catching performance pavilion. The Scioto Mile Fountain is the centerpiece of the park that is 15,000-square-foot with more than 1,000 jets of water that take on a multitude of forms and shapes. Milestone 229 is the on-site restaurant that offers a covered outdoor dining terrace.

German Village

German Village is a historic district with shops selling books, traditional fudge, and handmade jewelry, art galleries, German pubs, American bistros, and artisan coffee shops. It is a favorite destination to many that visit Columbus. The village’s architecture dates back from the 1840s-1890s that has been preserved and the area is very walkable.
